For hygiene and dignity for your pet, please bring them wrapped in a clean blanket or towel.
Any items you wish to be cremated with your pet such as toys, blankets will count towards weight. We cannot cremate external metal items such as chains or collars.
It would help very much if you know the weight of your pet. If you are unsure of you pet’s weight we are happy to estimate and adjust charges once ashes are collected.
Our cremation price includes individual cremation and availability of entire ashes in a scatter tube, which will be available to collect from our premises by appointment the next working day.
Surcharges
Out of Hours from £50:
To protect our family time, out of hours appointments are for emergencies only.
£50 applies weekdays between 5 and 7pm and Saturdays from noon till 5pm. (Where an appointment is agreed later in the evening, an additional £25 an hour applies.)
£100 is charged on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Same day ashes collection £25:
This service is available by prior arrangement. To guarantee same day service your pet would need to arrive no later than 9.30am and ashes will be collected during our normal opening times. This service is not available on Saturdays due to the shorter working day.
Witnessed Cremations £25:
By prior arrangement it is occasionally possible to witness the start of your pet’s cremation. To guarantee a witnessed cremation, you would need to arrive no later than 9.30am.
Insurance Claims or Paperwork Requests £10:
The paperwork we provide as standard will enable you to make your insurance claim. We always charge a token fee for additional paperwork required, the completion of insurance forms, or written statements to insurance companies.
Disposal of Beds or Baskets £5:
We charge a token disposal fee of £5 to cover disposal of non crematable items.
Special Requests:
As a small business we are able to be flexible to accommodate requests. Any costs incurred will be discussed with the customer.
Collection Charges
Mileage will usually be charged at £4.50 per mile, with a minimum charge of £20. Payment is taken before collection.
Where a two person collection is required this will carry an additional charge. Adverse travelling conditions such as weather, road closures or congestion will also be taken into consideration when calculating collection charges.
Collections can usually be made weekdays between 11am and 4pm.
Collections are made from the doorstep of your building. We do not enter homes or residential buildings without prior arrangement. Please ensure there is clear, safe access from where our vehicle can be parked to where your pet is to be collected. Please also ensure that your pet is wrapped in an appropriately sized and clean blanket or towel. If you are unavailable or circumstances have changed when we arrive at the given address at the arranged time then we must still charge for that journey.
Payment Terms
We respectfully ask that all payment is made in full when you either bring your pet to us or when we collect your pet from your home. Payment is asked for in advance if we collect your pet from your Vet. These terms also apply for those arranging or bringing pets on behalf of friends or family. As a small family business we are unable to extend credit terms.
Payment may be made by bank transfer, Debit Card or Cash. We do not accept American Express, Corporate Card payments or cheques.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the value of the individual product or service.
